In winter, the dark winter hours offer us plenty of time for creative projects! Here we have put together the most beautiful craft ideas for winter.

Handicrafts in winter – with time and hot chocolate

Especially in winter we finally have time to use our full creative potential for handicrafts: With a cup of tea or hot chocolate, we retreat to the warm, cozy living room and use the dark evening hours for intensive handicrafts. There are lots of craft ideas in winter – with snowmen, snowflakes or fir trees, this time of year has beautiful motifs that decorate our rooms at Christmas and in the weeks of January and February. Here you will find nice ideas for handicrafts and lots of inspiration for the winter!

Snowflake whitedress …

These little paper snowflakes are guaranteed to bring us a winter wonderland! To do this, an accordion made of white paper is simply folded and bent in the middle. Then cut into the sides in a wave shape (make sure that part of the edge remains) and carefully pull the paper apart so that a circle results. Then glue the ends together and thread them on.

Another nice idea for snowflakes can be implemented with the help of wooden clothespins: Simply remove the metal clips and first glue the wooden sticks together on the back and then in the middle. Then the snowflakes can be sprayed white.

Winter decoration made of wooden sticks

A great idea for kids! The snowflakes are made from wooden sticks. To do this, place three sticks on top of each other as a cross and glue them on. Then it's time to decorate: With white buttons and rhinestones we make little works of art.

Winter wonderland

The tree grates offer the perfect painting surface for winter motifs! Whether snowman, moose or Santa Claus – it can be painted perfectly with acrylic or craft paints. If you want to paint flat, you can let the grain of the wood shimmer through, which gives a nice effect. Holes for suspension can be made with a wood drill.

Snowman parade

In no time at all, we can make a snowman from styrofoam balls, which is breathed into life with a few felt-tip pen dots.

Wind decoration for the key

These little fellows can be tinkered with wooden balls and are guaranteed to ensure that you never forget your key again.

Rudolf the Reindeer

As a winter decoration, Rudolf brings us joy even after Christmas! It is made from a tree slice and branches.

Crafting with salt dough

Kids will love this idea! The footprint is immortalized in the salt dough and later used for the outline of a snowman. The grandparents will be happy! You can find a salt dough recipe here.

Animals made from cotton wool

We make the owls out of cotton wool, pine cones, felt and googly eyes. You spend the winter in our garden or on the veranda.
