Cristiano Ronaldo: His son signs football contract with Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo could not be prouder: his son has signed his first football contract with Manchester United and is thus following in his footsteps.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as the saying goes. That couldn’t be more true for Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, and his firstborn. His firstborn, like his father, is aiming for a great football career and has now landed his first big deal.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr signed for Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. recently signed a contract with Manchester United. And that’s not all: the eleven-year-old will wear his famous father’s shirt with the number seven. He has been playing football for the club’s academy for months. Now he will play for the British football club’s U12 team and work on his professional career.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez, 28, proudly shares the big moment on Instagram. “Together we pursue our dreams. Mama loves you,” writes the Spaniard, who is currently pregnant with twins, on a series of photos. Overjoyed, the young football player holds up the jersey with the inscription “Ronaldo” and the number 7 for the photographers.

Cristiano Ronaldo: ‘I will never put pressure on him’

However, there is no pressure from dad to succeed. “Time will tell. I will never put pressure on him. He will do what he wants,” the senior recently clarified in his loved one’s Netflix documentary. “Besides, what I wish most for Cristianito and everyone else is that they are happy and choose what they want. I will support them in every way.”

However, it was already clear that his offspring would follow the same career path as he did. Like his father, the eleven-year-old showed his skills in a junior team at the Italian club Juventus Turin, where he scored 58 goals in 28 games.
