Crossfire: Sierra Squad, new trailer and details for this future PSVR 2 title

Crossfire: Sierra Squad is a tantalizing production that has been announced for PS5 and PlayStation VR 2 (for now). Smilegate Entertainment take advantage of Playstation Showcase to unveil a brand new trailer for gameplay that makes you want to dive into this explosive universe.

As you can see, the atmosphere is electric and online games are likely to be intense. The editor states:

In CROSSFIRE: Sierra Squad, you are the leader of an elite strike team in the midst of a war caused by a newly discovered top secret chemical weapon. Who created this weapon and for what purpose? Prepare to meet a lot of resistance as you face a variety of resourceful enemies in your search for the truth.

As you dive into the action, you’ll experience high-quality characters, maps, and movement that CROSSFIRE fans expect, all in VR. Paramilitary action between rival Black List and Global Risk factions in multiple indoor and outdoor environments, with over 60 campaign missions, will captivate you.

39 weapon types including pistols, rifles, throwable (and throwable) grenades and snipers with revolutionary scope mechanics will give you plenty of options to take out 17 enemy types. You’ll also face heavy artillery, including helicopters and LAVs in a 360° VR space, so stay tuned.

Destroying your enemies will not be so easy. If you need help, recruit up to 3 more friends and play co-op on a grand scale!

A few things to consider:

Features related to PSVR 2:

  • High resolution graphics – 4K HDR 90/120Hz;

We don’t have a specific release date to put in our mouths, but know that Crossfire: Sierra Squad will launch in summer 2023.
