A second season of the “CSI” spin-off “CSI: Vegas” has been ordered. In addition to William Petersen, Jorja Fox will not be there either.

Although there will be another season of the “CSI” spin-off “CSI: Vegas”, like her colleague William Petersen (68), Jorja Fox (53) will no longer be seen in the new episodes. The actress announced this on Twitter. After careful consideration, she will not return, Fox explains.

“For me, CSI has always been a love story”

“For me, CSI has always been a love story. The story that people can find love in the darkest of places and in the darkest of times,” explains the 53-year-old. She couldn’t separate the characters Sara Sidle and Gil Grissom again: “Wherever they go, they belong together.” Fox also thanked the viewers and explained that of course she still wanted to watch the second season.

In December it was confirmed that “CSI: Vegas” would get another season after the first ten episodes. At that time it was already known that Petersen would not return. So far it is unclear when exactly the new season will be broadcast. Only one premiere is planned for the 2022/2023 season. The US network CBS, where the series can be seen, has not yet commented on Fox’s end.
