Cubism, the famous 3D puzzle solving game, offers 90 levels of increasing difficulty, but also support for hand tracking. Since the appearance of theAPI Passthrough, many experiments have been able to take advantage of augmented reality. This tool allows superimposition of 3D images in a real environment and therefore offers our virtual reality headsets a new horizon. This is all made possible by the cameras of the Meta Quest which allow us to map our real environment.
Cubism, in its last update, So officially offers us this possibility (until then in beta phase) and goes further by adjusting the calibration of our Guardian. Indeed, its developer Thomas Van Bouwel simply offers us to adjust the ground level at our office. to make the game menu more tangible.
One last addition to next week’s update:
if you calibrate your floor height to your desk, you can lower the puzzle and play @CubismVR in tabletop mode! The menu will lay flat, giving you force feedback from the table surface, and the piece drop shadows will be much more visible pic.twitter.com/iF0AovOAZR
