Cupra victims? – Confusion about the planned end for the Seat brand

The allegedly unsuccessful brand recently increased deliveries internationally by 18 percent, in Austria even by 25.4 percent, said a local spokesman. In Austria, 9,030 seats were sold from January to August inclusive, which corresponds to a market share of 5.5 percent. Cupra sold 5,044 units in the same period, giving it a 3.1% market share. At 37.6%, however, the increase is stronger than at Seat. Both brands increased their market share by 0.5 percentage points compared to 2022. The order situation is still good.
