Tragic accident early Thursday afternoon on the B 131 in Walding. A 34-year-old from Feldkirchen an der Donau got into a curve on the opposite lane on the way to his home town and collided head-on with a 64-year-old car driver. Despite immediate help, the 34-year-old died.
The 34-year-old drove his car on the B131 coming from Ottensheim in the direction of Feldkirchen an der Donau. A 64-year-old drove in the opposite direction. An 84-year-old was sitting in the passenger seat. The 34-year-old came off the side of the road for an unexplained cause and collided head-on with the 64-year-old’s car. Both cars came to a standstill as a result of the impact on the edge of the road.

Despite the intervention of first aiders and the resuscitation by the emergency doctor, the 34-year-old succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. The 64-year-old was brought to Med. Campus III with indefinite injuries. The passenger was flown from the C10 to the UKH Linz with injuries of an indefinite degree.
