This Friday, April 5, 2024, a new bonus of Dance with the stars is expected on TF1. For now, four pairs have been eliminated, those formed by Caroline Margeridon and Christian Millette, Coeur de Pirate and Nicolas Archambault, Diane Leyre and Yann Alrick-Mortreuil and Cristina Cordula and Jordan Mouillerac. This year, however, all the duets were promising, notably thanks to the good feelings felt between the personalities and their dancers. Something that was not always the case. Indeed, as Anthony Colette confided during his interview for the magazine Interviewdisappointments can quickly occur.
“We remain humans. Even if we appear on TV, we all have feelings, disappointments. That hasn’t happened to me, I’ve always been more or less satisfied, some years more than others, that’s normal, but I wouldn’t say who! And then, there are also surprises, we are disappointed by the choice at the start and the personality is revealed and sometimes, it’s the opposite, you expect the person to be exceptional and ultimately, you quickly want the show to end. In reality, from the first three days, we know how the season will go…“, he said.
Dancers not at all involved in choosing their partners
The problem being that no dancer can choose their partner for the season. “We dancers have nothing to say. We have a surprise! You should know that the production carries out castings for celebrities which last more or less four hours, with dancing, training and mini-interviews to see how they behave. And there, depending on the casting, the personality, etc., they assign dancers that the production knows very well“, indicated the one who is currently dancing with Natasha St-Pier. But this draw does not represent any stress for Anthony Colette, who believes he can “dance with everyone“. He has proven it over the seasons by dancing in turn with Joy Esther, Iris Mittenaere, Elsa Esnoult, Lucie Lucas and even Amandine Petit.
