Seconds of horror: Norwegian ski jumper Daniel-André Tande fell badly at the FIS World Cup. His condition is stable.

The Norwegian ski jumper Daniel-André Tande (27) was flown to a hospital after a serious fall on the ski jumping hill in Planica, Slovenia. During a trial run as part of the FIS World Cup, the athlete lost his balance in the air on Thursday afternoon and fell to the ground. He remained motionless in the ski jumping hill.

Tande was treated immediately by paramedics on site, and shortly afterwards a helicopter brought the 2018 ski flying world champion to the Ljubljana Medical Center in the capital of Slovenia. On the Twitter page of “FIS Ski Jumping” it was announced: “Daniel-André Tande’s state of health after the fall is stable.” Further tests would now be carried out in the clinic.
