Daniela Büchner
She announces the end of her restaurant Faneteria
An era is coming to an end for Daniela Büchner: Her restaurant Faneteria, which she ran with her late husband on Mallorca, has to close.
A sad step for Daniela Büchner (43): The Faneteria has to close. Three years after the "Goodbye Germany!" Emigrant opened the restaurant with her late husband Jens (1969-2018) on Mallorca, everything is over now. The mother of five takes leave of the cult bar on Instagram with several photos. "Every beginning ends at some point," she explains. "But sometimes just too fast."
Like many other restaurants, the Faneteria has also fallen victim to the corona pandemic. You have to say goodbye after three "wonderful seasons". "Jens, Marco, Tamara and I have invested a lot of passion, time and money. We are really very sad about it," she writes. She wanted to thank you for the numerous visits. "Many memories will remain, with my family, with Jens and also with you – without which the 'Faneteria' project would not have been possible."
As early as 2020, the restaurant had a shortened season due to the corona pandemic and suffered major economic losses without tourist visits. As Daniela Büchner shows in her Instagram story, the restaurant has already been completely emptied. Only the wall paintings are reminiscent of the bar and the people who were behind it.
