Dark circles: Rihanna’s makeup artist explains how to cover them up: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

While there is no magic formula for lightening dark circles that lurk under our eyes, there are a few tips that help hide them. And what better than advice from a famous makeup artist to learn how to hide them? Hector Espinal, makeup artist for Rihanna’s cosmetics brand (Fenty Beauty) unveiled some tips on how to apply our concealer. Yes, you read correctly, our concealer !

Why use two concealers?

Using two different concealers will help conceal these signs of fatigue. How? ‘Or’ What ? The first concealer (in warm tones) will be used to camouflage the shadow area undereye bags. The second (in a cooler tone) will bring luminosity to the eyes. In a story in one on Instagram (on the account of Fenty Beauty), Hector Espinal has posted videos on which he can be seen applying his own advice. It begins with the application of a peach concealer (a shade to adjust according to your natural skin tone). He then applies a much clearer concealer to illuminate the underside of the eye. A bit of loose powder to fix everything, and voila!

How to choose your concealer?

If your dark circles are bluish, a rosé concealer is ideal. If they are red or purplish, prefer for a beige concealer with yellow undertones. Finally, if they are gray, brown or brown, a peach or apricot concealer based on orange pigments will save you the day! The ideal concealer should be very close to your skin tone. Now you know everything! You can no longer go wrong!
