Sophia Thomalla will host a new RTL dating show from mid-October. A “picker” has the opportunity to get to know twelve singles.
Presenter Sophia Thomalla (32) will present the new dome show “Date or Drop” (11pm on RTL or via TVNow). In the new format, two singles can vote as “pickers” from among twelve candidates – but the final decision is not in their hands.
Who will make the choice in the end?
In every episode of “Date or Drop”, a single man and a single woman, the so-called “pickers”, have the chance to find the right one from twelve potential dates. In four game rounds, the two singles learn more about the candidates – but in all games they have their backs to their potential partners. The pickers only decide on the basis of the answer and vote. If you are not convinced of what you have heard, you can make the participants disappear through a trapdoor at the push of a button. The “Are You The One?” Presenter Thomalla will be at your side with help and advice.
If the last one remains, the picker no longer has it in hand. The very last decision is made on the selected date. In this way, the picker can also be transported to the cellar via a trap door if the chosen one is not interested. The latter can then continue as the next picker and get to know twelve new singles.
