Date with obstacles – Jaguar E-Type: dream car, diva, heartthrob

So onward. In curves, I miss a seat belt that could provide some lateral support. After all, this is a sporty old-school car, derived from the Jaguar D-Type racing car. The top speed is specified as 240 km/h, the sprint value as 6.5 seconds. Any better diesel can do that today while the driver is playing on their cell phone, but 60 years ago it was phenomenal and still a challenge. That’s still the case in the old Jag today, you can feel every meter, every movement, every step on the gas. Mostly the one on the brakes too, if it’s firm enough.
