Normally, Nina visits her demented father several times a week in the nursing home. But because this is currently not possible due to the corona, she quickly takes a job there so that she can spend more time with her father.
Not only we, also the UK is in a second lockdown in response to the rising corona numbers. For many people in nursing homes, this means that they are not allowed to receive visitors. A difficult change for Nina and her father, who has dementia, because they actually see each other several times a week.
Nina signs up for volunteer service in the nursing home
When Nina loses her job at the beginning of April, she therefore decides to volunteer at the nursing home. To do this, however, she has to pass eight exams. But as you can see in the joint videos: An effort that was worth it – the two of them can even celebrate a birthday together.
