French singer and songwriter Daniel Lévi lost his fight against cancer this Saturday, August 6. Unforgettable Moses from the musical “The Ten Commandments”, he sang “Ce rêve bleu” for the French version of Disney’s “Aladdin”.
The unforgettable voice of Daniel Lévi has died out. The French singer, who had suffered from colon cancer since 2019, died on Saturday August 6. Buried this Sunday August 7 in Marseille, the artist was 60 years old.
Author of seven solo albums between 1983 and 2021, Daniel Lévi had also distinguished himself in several musicals, and in particular The ten Commandments where he interpreted, among others, the anthem The desire to lovediamond disc in 2000, in the costume of Moses.
In the cinema, in addition to a few songs for the film Parking by Jacques Demy, Daniel Lévi had participated in the classic Disney Aladdin on the piece This blue dream, in duet with Karine Costa.
