The Belgian professional kickboxer Frédéric Sinistra was considered a vaccine opponent and corona denier.
After a Covid infection, he had to be ventilated in the hospital.
He released himself from the hospital and continued his treatment at home. He died there at the age of only 41.
“Corona denier and strongest man in Belgium died as a result of Covid-19,” headlined the Belgian media on Christmas Day. The sad news: Frédéric Sinistra died on December 15th of the consequences of his corona illness. The 41-year-old Sinistra was known around the world by his fighting name “The Undertaker”. He not only dominated the kickboxing scene there as a multiple Belgian champion, but was also three-time world and four-time European champion.
According to local media reports, Sinistra showed himself to be a vehement corona denier and vaccination opponent – he is said to have even refused to utter the words “Corona” and “Covid” at all. Should Corona actually exist, his fitness and age would protect him from the symptoms, he is said to have said again and again. At the end of November, his trainer pulled the rip cord: because his protégé showed symptoms, he sent him to the hospital.

“I told him that I would no longer train him if he did not go to the hospital,” Osman Yigin told “Sudpresse”. Sinistra finally announced on social media that his lungs were badly damaged, but that he would return even stronger. The kickboxer is said to have discharged himself from the hospital in Liège despite violent protests from the treating doctors – and wanted to treat himself with an oxygen bottle at home.
On December 13th, Sinistra reported one last time: he was recovering at home, he announced to his fans. Shortly afterwards he died of his corona illness, according to “Sudpresse” of acute shortness of breath. The corona death is now denied by his wife on social networks: She claims that her husband did not die of Covid – “and he would never have accepted that what happened to him served to spread fear and that To apply for vaccination ».
