And the minister managed to win the game. Initially, Emmanuel Macron wanted to stick to museums and historical monuments. It must be said that restaurant terraces should normally reopen on the same date.
If the sanitary situation allows it, the dark rooms will soon be accessible to the public again. Initially, however, gauges will be put in place : “35% room occupancy, which could rise to 65% three weeks later”, the newspaper reported. It is still a great victory for the 74-year-old minister, who has to deal with the many criticisms of some famous actors and singers, furious to see their activity at a standstill for six months.

Proud of the work accomplished, the former Minister of Health had also published a tweet on Friday, April 16, 2021, one day after this meeting. “Weeks of consultations with all sectors: cinema, theaters, festivals, museums, monuments, art centers … Discussions are sometimes intense, but always creative and constructive. We will be ready when the health situation allows recovery”, she had explained, without revealing a date. According to Le Figaro, which devotes an article to the subject Tuesday, April 20, 2021, no less than 500 films are awaiting release, including many blockbusters: The Croods 2, Fast & Furious 9, American Nightmare 5, Finch… So many feature films that unfortunately risk eclipsing small French productions.
