Because he wanted to avoid a deer on the street on Saturday night, an intoxicated driver in Tyrol’s Achenkirch (Schwaz district) tore his car in such a way that it overturned. The 32-year-old was injured and had to be taken to hospital.
Shortly before midnight on Friday, the local was driving his car on Steinberger Landesstraße from Achenkirch towards Steinberg when a deer jumped in front of the vehicle in the Leiten district. The 32-year-old avoided the animal and got over the left side of the road onto an embankment.
Alcohol test positive
The car then overturned and finally came to a standstill lying on the roof. The driver of the car was injured in the accident. The rescue brought him to the hospital in Schwaz. The man was also given an alcohol test, which was positive. His car was badly damaged.
