Deliver Us Mars: a first dev diary with information for the sequel to Deliver Us the Moon

A few weeks ago, during the Future Games Show of GamesRadar, Frontier Foundry and KeokeN Interactive unveiled Deliver Us Mars, a new adventure game far from Earth and a follow-up to Deliver Us the Moon. The studios are back this weekend with a first developer diary:

As explained KeokeN Interactive in the video above, captioned “Journey to the Red Planet,” Deliver Us Mars will take up the ecological and environmental themes of the previous installment, while the Earth lacks resources. Players will embody an astronaut sent this time to Mars to find a solution, including an improved movement system and puzzles integrated into the adventure, including interconnected challenges. The story will take place 10 years after Deliver Us the Moonas a team is sent to Mars to repatriate colonial ships to the organization Outward, which will be at the heart of the plot. The title will also include various themes such as the relationship between a father and his daughter, but the developers want to keep it a mystery while waiting for the game to be released.

KeokeN Interactive indicates in passing that the heroine of Deliver Us Mars will be fully voiced, allowing players to better understand her personality, motivations, and history as she ventures to the Red Planet. The narration will take a leap forward with this voice, but also thanks to motion capture. Deliver Us Mars still doesn’t have a specific release dateit is expected “soon” on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can find Deliver Us the Moon to €22.49 on Gamesplanet.
