When Aniplex and CyberConnect 2 announced that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles was also going to be entitled to a release on Switch in Japan, we thought that it was only a matter of days before a Western date fell. It’s now done, this version of the fighting game will also be released here, and only a few hours after Japan.
Only one day late for the West
As with its initial release on other platforms, the game will only be a day late to deliver its Switch version in Europe since it will arrive on June 10compared to June 9 for Japan.
As a reminder, this version is going to include all characters released as free DLC so far, which are 6 additional demons added a few weeks after the release of the title. We will also be entitled to some free costumes directly unlocked. We discover a first gameplay video of this version, relayed by Gematsu, which gives us an idea of the game’s ability to run on Switch.
