The family, a “strong base” for the facilitator
Denis Brogniart lost his father very young to cancer, even while he was still in the army, as he explained in an interview with the newspaper Le FigaroSeptember 14, 2021. This difficult ordeal has certainly forged the young boy who has already paid tribute on several occasions to his late father, “a tall man”, as he takes pains to describe it. If the Brogniart family, of which Denis is the eldest, lost the father figure prematurely, it remained very united and the host is aware of the values instilled by his parents. “With my mother, he taught us the meaning of communication, sharing and effort. Never give up, keep moving forward, as he showed during his fight against illness.”, declared the man who is today an ambassador for the ARC foundation which works for cancer research. A way of thinking that the presenter, now 56 years old, wanted to pass on to his own children, Dimitri from a first marriage and born in 2000, and his three daughters that he had with his wife , Hortense. Married since 2007, they are the happy parents of twin girls, Lili and Violette, born in 2005 and a little Blanche, born in 2006. “Its strong base”as he defined it earlier in the show: “It’s my wife, my four children and the people around me.
