Derichebourg takes a 20.6% stake in Elior

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Derichebourg, the environmental services group specializing in metal recycling, rose above the threshold of 20% of the capital and voting rights of Elior on May 24, d ‘after a statement sent to the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

At that date, Derichebourg held 20.57% of the capital and voting rights. The group had climbed just below the threshold of 20% of the capital earlier this month via the acquisition of a block of 14.7% from the founder of Elior and a leader of the collective catering group.

Derichebourg has confirmed that it intends to increase its stake “depending on market conditions and opportunities without however reaching 30% of the capital or voting rights” of the company.
