Desjoyaux swimming pools: record turnover and results in 2020-2021

(Boursier.com) – Desjoyaux swimming pools achieved a record turnover of 160.9 million euros in its 2020-2021 financial year, an increase of nearly 40%. The number of “8×4 equivalent” pools increased in France by 28% to 7,671 for a turnover up 33%, which reflects an improvement in the average basket for this fiscal year. In fact, the group has observed in recent years that the additional equipment part of the swimming pool was significant, linked to an enrichment of the offer. Internationally, the volume of basins increased by 60% with a significant increase in turnover of + 50%.

EBITDA stood at 41 ME, thus representing nearly 25% of turnover. The group posted an operating profit of 35 ME, a clear increase compared to the previous year of almost 14 ME (an increase of 66%). The net profit attributable to the group came to 25.5 ME, or 15.8% of the turnover against 14 ME for the financial year ended on 08/31/2020, an increase of 82%.

Piscines Desjoyaux is launching an ambitious program aimed at increasing production capacity and modernizing industrial tools and processes. This 25 ME program should take place over fiscal years 2022 to 2025.

Since the start of the 2021-2022 financial year, the group has observed a significant increase in activity in France and internationally. The group hopes to continue on this last trend and intends to improve profitability thanks to its sustained investment policy. The group aims to reach 50% of international turnover in the short term.
