Chloe Lewis credits this skincare range with clearing up her breakouts in just three days

If your skin has been going haywire since lockdown began, you’re not alone. Take TOWIE star Chloe Lewis, for instance.

Judging from her glamorous photos, you might be forgiven for thinking that Chloe, 28, doesn’t have a single skin concern to worry about. But the reality star and mum to six-month-old son Beau has shared the skin issues she’s been having since self-isolation began – and the products which have been helping.

“Had a lot of messages about my skin care at the minute as my skin has been breaking out,” she wrote on Instagram, before revealing the two products, both of which are from cosmeceutical brand Obagi Medical.

Chloe starts her skincare routine with the Obagi Clenziderm Daily Care Foaming Cleanser, which is available to buy online for £33.79 here.

“This wash is amazing,” she tells her fans.

She then follows with Obagi Clenziderm Pore Therapy , which you need a prescription for (Chloe’s was prescribed through Apprentice winner Dr Leah Totten’s clinics).

“I can honestly say I’ve been using for three days & my skin is so much clearer,” she tells followers.

Both products contain salicylic acid, an active ingredient that exfoliates and unclogs pores, making it a go-to for anyone with oily or spot-prone skin.

Chloe followed these Stories with an Instagram selfie that showed subtle make-up and her hair piled up into a messy bun, explaining, ‘I’ve had really bad skin since I’ve been isolating. So I got myself ready for the day, really made me feel better.”

Her fellow TOWIE castmates were quick to compliment her: Chloe Meadows replied with “I wish I looked like you”, while Shelby Tribble wrote back: “So stunning”.

If this lack of vitamin D, extra time spent in front of a screen and tendency to raid the biscuit tin every ten minutes has caused your skin to break out too, here are our top three instant zit-zappers…

Starface Hydro-Stars, £19 – buy it here

As social media is showing us, there’s no shame nowadays in wearing a spot patch, even out in public, and these cheery little stickers aim to encourage us to celebrate our skin rather than hide it. Made out of hydrocolloidal dressing, they shrink spots overnight.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel, £16 – buy it here

This is effective on all types of blemishes, from early bumps under the skin to ones that you haven’t been able to resist picking.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, £13.50 – buy it here

A more legitimate version of the old toothpaste method, this pink liquid contains calamine along with salicylic acid and does exactly what it says on the bottle – gently dries out blemishes until they disappear. It’s best used on whiteheads or big, juicy red pimples, rather than blackheads or ones that are already looking a little dry.
