Deutsche Telekom: As of today, new mobile phone tariffs







Starting today, Deutsche Telekom is offering new mobile phone tariffs. With more data volume, “family” offers are now also the focus. SIM cards can easily be added to a main contract.

Deutsche Telekom is offering new mobile phone tariffs from July 1, 2022. The tariffs are as follows:

  • MagentaMobil XS:

    5 GB for 34.95 euros / month.

  • MagentaMobil S:

    10 GB for 39.95 euros / month

  • MagentaMobil M:

    20 GB for 49.95 euros / month

  • MagentaMobil L:

    40 GB for 59.95 euros / month

  • Magenta Mobile XL:

    unlimited for 84.95 euros / month

All these tariffs include 5G use, EU roaming, a hotspot flat rate and a telephony and SMS flat rate in all German fixed and mobile networks.

Attractive for families

Additional SIM cards can be booked in addition to the main contract. The first SIM card booked always costs an additional 19.95 euros, each additional SIM card then costs 9.95 euros. The contracts booked for this take over all tariff details of the main card, especially the monthly data volume.

Telekom emphasizes that the new contracts are particularly attractive for families. Telekom calculates that two adults and two children can use the MagentaMobile S tariff for EUR 79.80 per month. Four people can then surf with 10 gigabytes of data each for less than 20 euros per person.

All tariffs can be booked with a term of 24 months or in a flex variant without a minimum term. A current device can be booked with 24-month contracts.

The 9.95 euros per SIM card is also the standard price for “young people” between the ages of six and 17.

Tablet users can book the MagentaMobile PlusKarte Data from Telekom for EUR 9.95 per month. The data volume included there is the same as that of the main card.

Telekom will automatically upgrade the 3.3 million existing customers with 5G mobile phone tariffs to the higher monthly data volume on July 1, 2022. Free of charge. On the other hand, anyone who has an older Telekom mobile phone contract does not automatically get the upgrade.
