"Harry Potter" star Devon Murray has announced the birth of his son. In his post he addresses loving words to partner Shannon.

Irish actor and "Harry Potter" star Devon Murray (32) has become a father. The Seamus Finnigan actor posted a picture from the hospital with his son slumbering in a bed in the background. In the foreground is a greeting card with a muffin, the blue decoration of which reveals the baby's gender. In his posting, Murray officially introduces his son, who was born on January 2nd, and finds loving words for his girlfriend Shannon McCaffrey Quinn.

"Yesterday, January 2, 2021, my life changed forever. Shannon gave birth to our beautiful little boy 'Cooper Michael Murray'," wrote Murray.

After a long birth and "a few scary minutes at the end", both are doing surprisingly well. "I can't believe we have our own little boy now. I can't wait to have some fondest memories as a little family with Shannon and Cooper," added Murray. He is also deeply impressed by Shannon, who is now his heroine. "I'm so proud of her for everything she went through. I will love you both forever until my last breath."
