Diablo 4: Beta starts this weekend – How to participate

• The beta for Diablo 4 starts on March 17th.
• The open beta for anyone interested, on the other hand, will not start until March 24th.
• The first act can be played up to level 25 with initially three and later a total of five classes.

Diablo 4 will not be released until June 6th, but you can already take a first look at the new title in the Diablo series over the weekend, because then the beta phase starts.

From March 17th to March 19th you can test Diablo 4 if you have pre-ordered the title. The early access to the beta is one of the pre-order bonuses. In this case, you will receive a beta code via email that you can redeem on the Blizzard website.

The open beta for anyone interested will take place a little later. So if you haven’t pre-ordered Diablo 4 yet, you can still test the new game. The beta is available to all players on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One platforms.

During the beta you can test the first act of Diablo 4. The maximum level you can reach during this time is level 25. However, only three classes are playable during pre-order early access.

Playable classes and co-op

You can choose the battle-hardened barbarian, the swift hunter or the magician. Only with the open beta do you also get access to the druid and the necromancer. In total, however, only a maximum of 10 characters can be created and after the end of the entire test phase, all your created characters will be deleted.
