According to Jason Schreier, a “friends-and-family” alpha is underway for the highly anticipated Diablo IV.
Whereas Diablo Immortal is a commercial success that accumulates pansthe long-awaited Diablo IV is being talked about again.
Indeed, according to Jason Schreierseveral people currently have access to the future title of Blizzard. Players are currently NDA and can’t talk about the game. However, still according to the Bloomberg journalist, the feedback is rather positive.
Another fun but minor Blizzard tidbit that I haven’t seen reported anywhere yet: a bunch of people are playing an early build of Diablo IV right now thanks to a friends-and-family alpha test. Players are under NDA, but I’m hearing mostly positive buzz

This alpha testing phase is the very first for the title. If the latter had slightly leaked in the Battle.net launcher databases, we now have confirmation that it does indeed exist. For now reserved for Activision Blizzard members and a few of their relativesthe alpha should soon extend to other people such as certain journalists, fan sites or even influencers.
Planned for next year the game still has to go through a beta phase some of which will have access by getting a tattoo.
