Dieter Bohlen commented on his plans on Instagram. Initially, however, these have nothing to do with the TV business.
Dieter Bohlen (67) explained to his fans on Instagramwhy he’s not coming back on TV yet. First of all, he still has an existing contract, so he “can’t do anything else”, says the pop titan in a short video in which he appears in comfortable casual clothes and sunglasses. And reason number two: As every year, he just wanted to “relax a little”. Bohlen reveals that he has big plans and wants to travel around Mallorca with his boat, possibly also Menorca. And he adds: “Relax a little. Dieter has to rest sometimes.”
Under Bohlen’s post, not only the fans of the TV star spoke up, but also fellow musician Pietro Lombardi (28): “Wild things will happen,” wrote the singer about the 67-year-old’s video …
Farewell announced in March
In March it became known that “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” -Urgestein Bohlen will no longer be part of the jury for the next season and that “Das Supertalent” will also take place without him in the future. At the end of March, Bohlen spoke on Instagram about his end in the shows: RTL just wanted to “go a new way”. The station wants to become more family-friendly, because a “revolutionary who always hits the shit a bit” like Bohlen himself “has no business anymore”. Bohlen could “understand well” the argument. He is just the way he is and he will always tell the truth. He couldn’t and doesn’t want to change that. On the contrary: “I will continue to optimize myself and be even more honest and more sayings [klopfen]”.
