Disappearance of Léa Petitgas: four years later, the young woman remains untraceable

This Monday, January 31, the M6 program “Appeal to witnesses”, presented by Julien Courbet and Nathalie Renoux, will return to this case to try to advance the investigation. The father, mother-in-law, sister and two friends of the young woman will be present. Twelve police officers and gendarmes will be on set to collect live testimonies. “I hope that someone will finally be able to speak and relaunch the investigation. In any case, I did not hesitate to do this show, because for me, it is unexpected, it is almost the operation of the last chance ”explained to the Point Christophe Petitgas, the father of Léa.

Several tracks

Her friend, with whom she spent the evening, is the last to have seen her. The next day, December 14, 2017, Léa Petitgas did not show up for work. His phone stopped broadcasting and no more banking activity was observed. In his apartment, nothing has moved. Both cats are left without food. Divers probe the Loire without finding anything.

A wanted poster describing the young woman of 1m47, brunette with green eyes, with a white cap and a green parka, is broadcast massively on social networks. Without giving anything there either. Four years after his disappearance, several tracks are mentioned: the voluntary disappearance, the track of the family entourage (some relationships with family members were strained) and the track of the bad meeting. But none of these leads are considered “serious” by investigators.
