Marwan Berreni has not given any sign of life since August 3, 2023. The actor disappeared following an accident which occurred the same day between a vehicle and a 38-year-old woman around 11 p.m. Following this tragic event, the actor’s papers were found on board this Mercedes GLK, left about thirty kilometers from the scene of the collision. Since then, the star of More beautiful life cannot be reached by phone, and his house is empty. It was initially due to resume filming in October 2023 on the occasion of the return of the famous program on TF1 in 2024. Questioned by our colleagues from Provence on Friday September 8, 2023, Stéphanie Brémond, the deputy general manager in charge of soap operas and long series at Newen Studios, gave explanations about the outcome of the character of Abdel Fedala, played by the 34-year-old young man. Furthermore, she confirms that the filming will not be postponed: “But we are used to adapting to unavailability in an acting troupe. In fact, despite their emotion, they know very well how to separate the private from the professional and are ready to work.” Stéphanie Brémond continues by explaining that the character played by Marwan Berreni was not removed from the program despite the circumstances. She explains that for the moment, her presence is maintained: “We don’t know what happened to the actor, but his role will not be taken over by anyone else. In a soap opera, we find scriptwriting tips, you know, to manage an absence, we can do it in a respectful way.” She continues: “This actor was expected on the set, and was actually present in the trailer broadcast by TF1but when we learned of his unavailability, we hadn’t yet decided what we would shoot first.”
