Disney has been a successful animated film producer for generations. Many feature films have become cult since their release in the cinema. That's why we wondered which ones were the favorites of the French. To do this, we looked at the box office results of Disney cartoons in France, from the first film to the last. We selected the top ten which were extremely successful in French cinemas.
If you thought that over the years, some films would dethrone the unbeatable, it is not. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs remains at the top of the list in the hearts of the French, having accumulated 18,290,843 entries. In second position, we find the essential Jungle Book, released in 1967. Mougli and his friends made 14,695,741 entries into France. In third place of the podium is 101 Dalmatians with 14,660,594 entries. On our side, we would have bet on The Lion King or La Reine des Neiges, but the French seem to be less enthusiastic about more recent productions.
