Alcohol consumption is a real social issue for the government. Many campaigns have been put in place to limit alcohol consumption among young people, but also while driving. Actions that may have played a role in this decrease, a proportion also highlighted by other benchmarks: the drop in the proportion of the population consuming alcohol more than 5 days a week (8.4% in 2020 against 7.1% in 2021), but also that of “maximum two glasses in one day” going from 18.8% to 17.8%. The regions of France with the highest alcohol consumption
