The world of Disney Dreamlight Valley is inhabited by many characters, from Disney or even Pixar licenses. Throughout the adventure, the players must, moreover, increase their level of friendship with them. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
How to increase friendship level in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Increase your friendship level with different characters of Disney Dreamlight Valley is very important. Moreover, you will be asked for this multiple times, via various quests. For example, after a few hours of play, Merlin will give you the quest “Friendship Above All”, asking you to improve your friendship relations with NPCs, and more precisely up to level 5 with 3 of them .
So, here the different ways to increase the level of friendship with the characters on Disney Dreamlight Valley. First of all, you probably already suspect this, but complete different quests that NPCs give you allows you to improve your relationship with them. Moreover, in your quest log (in-game menu), you will be able to see the rewards of the quests in progress.
Secondly, remember to talk to them daily. By approaching one of the characters and interacting with them, you will have the option to select a line of dialogue, marked by a bubble (as in the image below). This is how you can chat with an NPC and thereby increase your level of friendship with him.
Also, be aware that you can give gifts to different characters. On this subject, as on Stardew Valley, they will prefer some items over others. You can see a character’s “Favorite Things of the Day” list when you give them a gift. For Mickey, for example, the items he wanted to receive that day were the following: bouillabaisse, dandelion and pepper. As you will have understood, by giving a favorite item to an NPC, you will increase your friendship with him more quickly.
Ultimately, the best solution, in our view, is toinvite characters to take a ride with you. To do this, simply interact with the NPC of your choice and select “Let’s go for a walk”. From then on, the character will follow you. By performing various actions, you will see the friendship gauge of the latter increase as you go.
Moreover, we advise you to carry out activities related to the specialty that you have assigned to them. Indeed, after having unlocked level 2 of friendship with them, you will have the possibility of affiliating them to one of the activities: Excavation, Gardening, Fishing, Gathering, Extraction. For example, on our side, Dingo is affiliated with fishing. Therefore, when we ask him to take a ride with us, we are basically going to fish to increase our friendship with him and, also, to get more fish.
