Disney +: Secret Invasion, the Marvel series centered on Nick Fury will arrive in spring 2023


San Diego Comic-Con was the opportunity for Marvel to say more about its next flagship Secret Invasion series centered around Nick Fury. In addition to a release date, we now know more about the plot and the number of episodes.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige shared a slew of exciting MCU news during the San Diego Comic-Con panel like a new trailer for his green superhero She-Hulk. The show was also an opportunity to learn more about the upcoming Nick Fury series, Secret Invasion. We now know that this series of six episodes will be broadcast in the spring of 2023 on Disney+as previous reports had suggested.

As a reminder, Secret Invasion takes place during the Blip, the five years between Thanos’ Snap in Avengers: Infinity War and the events of Avengers: Endgame. There will be a whole bunch of characters who had appeared in previous films, like Talos, The Skrull appeared in Captain Marvel or the big bad of the series played by Kingsley Ben-Adir.

We then learn that Fury has returned to Earth to deal with a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have infiltrated our planet for years. Spectators were also able to see Olivia Colman in a scene where she talks with Nick Fury, whileEmilia Clarke was holding a gun while searching for someone in another. The James Rhodes of Don Cheadle makes a brief appearance as Fury tells him about his security detail. For now, the trailer has not been unveiled for everyone, but it is expected to appear soon on YouTube.
