Shortly before 8 p.m., the Lucerne police received an emergency call. Several people ran into each other at the Avia petrol station in Geuensee LU. There was one fatality and several injured, as canton police spokesman Christian Bärtschi confirmed to Blick.
It is still unclear whether it was a fight or whether the people attacked each other with knives, so Bärtschi. The triggers and motives behind the incident are also the subject of the investigation.
Injured person not yet interviewed
Specialists have arrived to secure evidence, the petrol station and the affiliated Spar Express will remain closed for the time being.
According to Bärtschi, the injured are given medical attention and interrogated as soon as their condition allows. Bärtschi was unable to provide any information on the nationality of the people involved in the incident. (kes)
