After Emmanuel Macron’s announcement of the dissolution of the National Assembly, Marine Le Pen affirmed that the National Rally is ready to “exercise power, to straighten out the country, to revive France”.

Marine Le Pen affirmed on Sunday that the National Rally was “ready to exercise power” following the legislative elections called for June 30 and July 7 following the dissolution of the National Assembly by the President of the Republic.

“We are ready to exercise power”

“We are ready to exercise power if the French trust us during these future legislative elections. We are ready to restore the country, ready to defend the interests of the French, ready to put an end to this mass immigration, ready to purchasing power of the French a priority, ready to begin the reindustrialization of the country”, insisted the far-right leader, on the evening of the overwhelming victory of the RN in the European elections.

A surprise dissolution

In a thunderbolt, Emmanuel Macron immediately announced the dissolution of the National Assembly on Sunday. “I can only welcome this decision which is in line with the logic of the institutions of the Fifth Republic,” said the former candidate for the presidency of the Republic, who arrived in the second round of the election in 2017 and 2022. I call on the French to come and join us to form, around the National Rally, a majority in the service of the only cause that guides our steps: France,” launched Marine Le Pen during a speech at her party HQ.

With 31.5 to 32.4% of the votes according to the Ipsos and Ifop institutes, the National Rally will contribute decisively to the rise in power of the nationalist and sovereignist camp in the European Parliament, the main lesson of the vote at Union level . “This great victory of the patriotic movements is in line with History which sees everywhere in the world, the return of nations, of protections (…) It closes this painful globalist parenthesis which has made people suffer so much in the world,” said Marine Le Pen.
