More specifically, these are burgers which in turn are subject to product recall because they are supposed to contain bacteria Toxigenic Escherichia coli shiga, more commonly known as E. Coli.

The affected products have been sold between August 2 and 14 in the main retail chains including Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Franprix, Leader Price, Intermarché, Leclerc, Monoprix, Simply Market and Système U, as well as Segurel, Frais Distribution Antona, Diapar, Francap and Match. It is 5% fat minced steaks offered in weekly packs, individually, by two or six.
