. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen and is directed by Sam Raimi.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

, as it is fully titled, will be the first horror-inspired film in the MCU and will explore the parallel universes already explored in No Way Home (rent or buy on Amazon here) and Loki (available on Disney+ here). The film will also tie into the plot of the first Disney+ series, WandaVision.

When will Doctor Strange in the Muliverse of Madness be available to stream?

Doctor Strange 2 will be released later on Disney+, but only a few months after its theatrical release. That could only take a few weeks, because “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” took just under two months: The film first hit the cinemas in early September 2021 and then ended up on Disney Plus in December 2021 (here to see). The film “Eternals” was released in cinemas in November 2021 and can also be seen here on Disney+ since January 2022.
