DoDonPachi Blissful Death Re:Incarnation adds DoDonPachi III as a bonus

Under the somewhat misleading title of DoDonPachi III actually hides a version of DoDonPachi Blissful Death equipped with texts in English (because formerly intended for export) which offers its own rules concerning the second loop once the game is completed, including the ability to transfer a maximum of three lives from the first run. M2 explains that DoDonPachi III has already been playable a few times in certain game stores in Japan, but its presence on consoles is a unique bonus that those in the know will undoubtedly appreciate at its true value.

DoDonPachi Blissful Death Re:Incarnation also includes new illustrations by Junya Inoue and Haruhata which will be identifiable thanks to the label “Ver. 2023” at certain points in the game (selection of Element Dolls, end of level and end of game). The options will allow you to choose between these new illustrations and those from 2002. Still in the options section, M2 has added the possibility of activating the display of shot detection, the visibility of hidden objects and a gauge which indicates when a boss will change shape.

Cave fans are sure to have something to return this DoDonPachi Blissful Death (DoDonPachi Daiôjô in Japanese) in every sense thanks to the presence of an arcade mode carried as faithfully as possible, but also a Super Easy mode and an Arrange mode in three variations. The Arrange S (for Shotia), Arrange L (for Leinyan) and Arrange EX (for Exy) routes will each impose specific conditions. DoDonPachi Blissful Death Black Label, which modifies some mechanics and offers new balancing, is also present. Music lovers will also be able to choose between music from the arcade, “Stereo 2023” versions by Manabu Namiki and arrangements by the collective SuperSweep.
