Dolby Atmos soundbar at Aldi on offer: Inexpensive home cinema sound system for less than 200 euros

At Aldi there will be many new offers in the online shop from September 1st. Among other things, the discounter offers a cheap sound system from Medion. The Dolby Atmos soundbar comes with a separate subwoofer and can also be used as a hi-fi system via Bluetooth.

The Dolby Atmos soundbar from Medion will be available from September 1st for 179 euros in the Aldi online shop.

The soundbar offers an RMS output of 60 watts, the wireless subwoofer brings it to 120 watts RMS. That doesn’t sound like much, but it’s quite sufficient for everyday use – unless you want the walls to shake.

The sound system offers various sound modes including Movie, Music, Voice, Sports and Bass). There is also surround sound thanks to Dolby Atmos. Smartphones, tablets and the like can also be connected to the soundbar via Bluetooth 5.1.

The sound system offers the following connections: audio input (AUX 3.5 mm), optical input, coaxial input, 1 x HDMI output (eARC and CEC), 2 x HDMI input (CEC), USB connection for music playback.

All in all, with the Medion soundbar you get a solid sound system for your television, the sound of which is certainly a lot better than that of the TV set. If you are looking for real home cinema sound, you have to dig much deeper into your pocket.
