Dollar General: 46% decrease in EPS in the 3rd quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – Dollar General publishes EPS down 45.9% to $1.26 for its third quarter, as well as operating profit down 41.1% to $433.5 million, for revenues up 2.4% to 9.7 billion (-1.3% on a comparable store basis).

For the full year, the distribution group confirms that it expects EPS of around $7.10 to $7.60, a drop of 29 to 34%, for revenue growth of approximately 1.5 to 2.5% (-1 to 0% on a comparable store basis).

On this occasion, Dollar General announces its real estate growth plans for the next fiscal year, which include approximately 2,385 projects in total, including 800 new stores, 1,500 renovations and 85 relocations.
