What is the promotion on these QLED TVs?

  • The TCL 55QLED770 television is sold for €649 upon release. It is currently priced at €549 on the Ubaldi website. And thanks to a €100 refund offer, and the code 15UBA4823 to enter the basket, its price increases to €374.

What is The Frame from Samsung?

The Frame has a diagonal of 55 inches, or 139 cm, and has the particularity of resembling a painting. The effect is successful, thanks to a frame around the screen, which gives it a clean and elegant style. To fully embrace its mimicry, the television can display a work of art thanks to its panel with a matte coating, ideal for displaying paintings. Although some works are available for free, you will have to go through the Art Store checkout, and take out a monthly subscription for €4.99 per month to access thousands of paintings and photographs.

The Frame is HDMI 2.1 compatible and comes with a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The QLED panel offers sharp and detailed image quality, and is HDR10+ compatible. Apart from some issues with contrast and blacks on certain content, the image is excellent and the brightness is almost perfect. The Samsung television is therefore perfectly suited to cinema and video games. The Tizen operating system adorns the menus, with fluid and instinctive navigation. The TV is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, so you can control it with the sound of your voice.

What is this affordable TV from TCL?

TCL offers a much more affordable model than The Frame, but which is no less efficient. Even though it looks like a classic television, its thin borders allow for good immersion and make it rather discreet in the TV corner. Its 55-inch QLED panel offers excellent image quality, with good contrasts and satisfactory brightness. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision, unlike Samsung which still ignores this standard.

HDMI 2.1 ports are perfect for connecting your PS5 or Xbox Series. Unfortunately, you will have to make do with a refresh rate of only 60 Hz. The Google TV interface is easy to use and very smooth. Algorithms make it possible to find relevant content based on your viewing habits on different SVOD services. Voice assistants are also there, to control the TV with the sound of your voice.
