Double speed limit – children in the back seat: speeders are on the loose from cars in Tyrol

The police caught two speeders in Rum near Innsbruck on Easter Sunday who were traveling much too fast in a 60 speed zone. The two Bulgarians have now not only lost their driving licenses, but also their cars.

During traffic surveillance measures on Tiroler Straße in the municipality of Rum, the police noticed the two cars on Sunday afternoon. Minus the measurement tolerance, the two raced at 125 km/h over a section of the federal highway on which a 60 speed limit applies. The Bulgarians, aged 34 and 26, each had an adult passenger in their cars, sitting in the back seat of each car also one child each (eight and 13 years old).
