Dr Disrespect, the famous streamer, reveals the gameplay of his FPS integrating NFTs


In a few years, the streamer Herschel “Guy” Beahm IVbetter known as Dr Disrespectbecame a real phenomenon on Twitch. Despite several setbacks with the platform, the streamer remains very popular and very fond of video games, especially FPS.

So, the creator founded a AAA development studio, Midnight Society and unveiled the first images of his next game “Deadrop”. The latter is an FPS that integrates non-fungible tokens (NFT). Early Access is granted to fans who purchase the Founder’s Access Passes at $50.

However, initial feedback is mixed. Indeed, the game is only at the beginning of its development process and most content available now is subject to change. The goal of this release was to lay the groundwork for player movement, weapon systems and to introduce an environment to test the unique weapon of the game. Moreover, this version of the early access is there to test Dedrop’s account system, security and online features.

Currently, shooting feel is poor, animations non-existent, and framerates choppy. For a first early access, the game does not really highlight its strengths. But the real point that blemishes in the middle of this painting, it was the inclusion of NFTs that divided the streamer community.
