Dr. Dre is being treated in a clinic for an aneurysm. Thieves apparently wanted to take advantage of his absence and break into his house.

The day after he was hospitalized for a brain aneurysm, the home of music mogul Dr. Dre (55, "2001") in Los Angeles is apparently the target of thieves. ABC7 and NBC News, citing the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), reported that four suspects were arrested on Tuesday January 5th after an attempted break-in in Brentwood. According to consistent US media reports, the target of the thieves is the musician's property.

At around 10 p.m. Tuesday evening, LAPD officials followed up on an attempted break-in that saw suspects in Brentwood "come over a hill" trying to break into a property. The police officers called by security men stopped the men in the car after a short chase and found several burglary tools in the car. The thieves could not steal any items from the house. Dr. Dre has not yet commented on the incident, but after reporting on his hospital stay, he gave an update on his health.

Instagram message to his fans

As the US website "TMZ" reported, the musician suffered a brain aneurysm and was taken to the hospital on Monday (January 4th). A little later he spoke up via Instagram and confirmed that he was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. "I'm fine and the medical team is taking wonderful care of me," said Dr. Dre. He will soon be able to leave the hospital and go home.
