Drawing doodles is not that difficult. Here you will find inspiration – from flowers to comics, everything is represented.

Did you know that March 30th is “Pencil Day”? This day of action is a good reason to pull out the pencil again and pay tribute to him with a few drawings. Of course, drawing is just as much fun on any other day ?!

These are doodles

The English term doodle means something like scribble or scribble in German. Maybe you know doodles from talking on the phone and your little scribbled works of art that were created along the way… So a doodle is not about the perfect drawing!

The little doodles don’t have to be particularly delicate and elaborate. They are often accessories and adornment in bullet journals and give journals & Co. a personal touch due to their imperfection! So these sketches are definitely suitable for drawing beginners. Doodles are not only shapes like hearts or stars, but also figures, frames, arrows, patterns or banners.

Materials for your sketches

In principle, you are well equipped with paper and a pencil! So you can try it out at first and possibly make small corrections with an eraser. If you feel confident in drawing, you can use a fineliner or paint over your pre-painted drawings. If you want, you can color them in later. If you don’t just want to capture the sketches on paper, you may need special pens (e.g. porcelain painters).

Where can I use Doodles?

Doodles are of course not only popular when making phone calls or in boring meetings. They fit:
