Dreame H13 Pro: new options for the Chinese manufacturer’s flagship floor washer

As usual, Dreame multiplies the references. While the Chinese manufacturer presents a multitude of new devices, the H13 Pro floor scrubber has not escaped our notice. This updated version of the H12 Pro is not revolutionary in itself, but still offers some improvements.

First of all, a fourth mode – called Turbo – is fitted to the device and ensures that it works hard to swallow dirt and remove stains from the floor. It is therefore added to the Ultra, Aspiration and Automatic modes already present on the old model. Remember that this last mode itself regulates the water flow and the suction power according to the degree of dirt on the floor. Sensors help it diagnose the condition of the ground and then adapt its performance.

One last mode is available. Not new, the self-cleaning function however improves by increasing the temperature. In fact, the roller rinsing water is heated to 60°C. The brush also rotates in both directions to better remove dirt. Finally, Dreame makes a point of drying this roller to avoid the proliferation of bacteria and bad odors. This cycle is then shortened to 30 minutes – compared to 1 hour 30 minutes for the H12 Pro – and uses air heated to 60°C for greater efficiency.

Obviously, we keep repeating it: this feature does not replace occasional hand washing. Self-cleaning allows you to maintain the roller on a daily basis and speed up the drying process, especially in countries with high humidity.

The Dreame H13 Pro announces better autonomy, since it would be able to wash for 40 minutes, compared to 35 for its predecessor. The manufacturer promises to clean 300 m² of surface in a single charge.

And since details count, a strip of LEDs now adorns the cleaning head of the broom to better detect dirt, in broad daylight or not. This same motorized head retains its ability to wash walls and furniture as closely as possible, without leaving any dusty margins. Few competitors boast of such an advantage, although it is essential for obtaining a clean floor.

On the other hand, Dreame makes its floor scrubber gain weight since the H13 Pro gains 700 g and reaches 5.6 kg. We hope it doesn’t weigh too much on the arm at the end of the cleaning. To be sure, it should quickly undergo tests in our labs. For those who are more impatient, the H13 Pro is already available at a price of €599.
