While trying to get back on the road, Tuesday afternoon a 30-year-old came from the B69 in Straß to a side street and threw his car sideways against a truck. Both he and the truck driver (39) were seriously injured. The person who caused the accident from the Leibnitz district was under the influence of alcohol.
In the municipality of Straß in the Leibnitz district there was a side collision between a car and a truck on Tuesday afternoon: a 30-year-old driver from the district got on the banquet. The attempt to get back on the lane failed – he was thrown off the B69 onto a side street. A 39-year-old was driving his truck there at the same time. He was rammed by the vehicle.
The person who caused the accident and the 39-year-old from Southeast Styria were seriously injured by the rescue team and taken to the hospital. An alcohol test of the 30-year-old showed that he was moderately drunk.
