Duchess Camilla traditionally decorated the Christmas tree with children. A special utensil was used for this.

Duchess Camilla (74) decorated the Christmas tree in her London residence with helping hands from children. According to the Instagram post it is a tradition that the wife of Prince Charles (73) invites children who are helped through the work of two charities.

The little ones were even allowed to slide the jewelry carefully from a sword onto the branches. A member of the Welsh Guards helped them with this. An Instagram video shows the end result of the tree action and shows the children having lunch with the Duchess. The Welsh Guards band had previously performed Christmas carols.

Christmas dinner with the Queen

Duchess Camilla and her husband should soon have another important appointment in the run-up to Christmas. Queen Elizabeth II (95) wants to have the traditional Christmas dinner with her family despite concerns about rising corona numbers. She has invited fifty family members to Windsor Castle next Tuesday.
